You take a lot of pictures with a slowish progression of difference between them and then put them all together in order. You have to think outside the box about how to move the camera around. Stop motion allows a hell of a lot of creativity if you can tap into it. It's like firewood. When you think you have enough, get like three times more. This video is comprised of several hundred or thousand total. I worked with the creator on this video, but I am not the creator.
