Check out "push to the pass"its about the Roger's pusher terminal on CP's mountain subdivision in BC. It was the last pusher station in Canada and became obsolete with the completion
of the Mt. Macdonald tunnel in the late 1980's

My Dad said that BNSF crews call cabooses "shoving platforms". The doors have rebar welded across them to keep the crews from getting inside the caboose
