MAY 24 2007--In a raid on an al-Qaeda safe house in Iraq, U.S. military officials recovered an assortment of crude drawings depicting torture methods like "blowtorch to the skin" and "eye removal." Along with the images, soldiers seized various torture implements, like meat cleavers, whips, and wire cutters. The images, which were declassified by the Department of Defense, also include a picture of a ramshackle Baghdad safe house described as an "al-Qaeda torture chamber." It was there, during an April 24 raid, that soldiers found a man suspended from the ceiling by a chain. According to the military, he had been abducted from his job and was being beaten daily by his captors. In an additional raid, Coalition Forces freed five Iraqis who were found in a padlocked room in Karmah. The group, which included a boy, were reportedly beaten with chains, cables, and hoses. Photos showing injuries sustained by those captives are included.

Ppl make such fuss with those so-called torture methods, like grouping them naked, put shit on them & all that stuff on those Abu Ghraib photos, yet i still find it laughable near THIS kind of torture. For me This is real torture, what was done in abu ghraib was humiliation. Ppl had their hands & legs drilled & part of their bodies roasted with blowlamps.

I agree, Bush snr missed an opportunity, he should have finished it. That way his son wouldn't have to make up that story about Saddam supporting Alkaida (he was their worst enemy) or that he had WMDs (he did not)

Emotionally I want Obama to take off the Ayotolla's head but that would cause such a backlash it would be bad for everyone.

I have been to the middle east, ordinary Arabs are wonderful people, funny, intelligent, creative, caring, moral, honorable, aware. Beats some people I know.

Yes I am sure that Al Qaeda employs the same techniques as CIA as Al Qaeda are all recruited and trained as agents of CIA. Zbigniew Brzinski formed Al Qaeda when he was President Carter's National Security Advisor and now Brzinski is Obama's senior advisor on the wars. You may be right, I don't want to endanger Iranians more than they are already. They did find chemical weapons which are classified as WMDs and just because they didn't find any nukes doesn't mean there were none. Tho there were no operational plans between Iraq and Al Quida, there is evidence that Iraq security forces had met with al-Qaeda operatives.
