Bull sales are a big deal for registered cattle business. There is a lot of work that goes into these sales. It was an honor to hang out for the day and see the pride that everyone takes in their cattle. The sale consisted of two family farms coming together with quality bulls for another successful sale.

actually i have hereford cows and angus bulls. I like the black baldy calves. They don't have the pink eye problems like the herefords do and they seem to do better in the feedlots too.

Haha. I guess I like a mix of the two since my grandpa and great uncles had both hereford and black angus. But if I had to pick one it would be Hereford :)

yeah your right it is canistota. i should have known that. I've been to salem tractor salvage several times. I just don't pay that much attention to the exit numbers! ;) I didn't go to the sale either. I like hereford cattle better. :)

368 would be the Canistota exit, which is 4 miles east of the Salem exit.. The Salem exit is 364. I live in Salem, so I know my way around. haha. I did not attend the Eichacker bull sale but I had quite a few friends out there.
