He was against the civil rights act because a business should have the right to prosper (or fail) according the discretion of the proprietor. Ron Paul is against the Civil Rights Act of 64, against MLK day, and wrote racist stuff in his newsletters.
His economic policies and theories are shit, just like his claims of being a fiscal conservative he is loaded with earmarks, with none of any of his proposals becoming law for 20 years.
