Whoopi should stfu.

@fubarnett I don't recall her slamming christianity. However,I remember clearly how she has often rediculed those who cause harm and pain in the name of "God".I see no wrong in her doing so.
Besides, the topic at hand couldn't be any further from what you had just addressed.O'reilly made a sweeping statement suggesting that 9/11 was some sort of muslim agenda. But,in simple terms,it was actually a TERRORIST attack with EXTREMISTS behind it.Insinuating that the muslim world was guilty sounds stupid

Barbara Walters has that old lady dry mouth smacking sound when she talks, I can hear it, it is soooo annoying!!!!

Very well said Sir :)
Balance does require an equal opposing force to have a debate/opinion to remain neutral, but the reality is, crazy in one direction is equal to crazy in the other direction.
True neutrality is reality without opinion.
:)
:P

@Joxman2k Be careful how you say that. Behar (sp?) bring "balance," but think about balance. If O'Reilly is extremely far right on the scale, the only way to truly "balance" him is to be the same distance left on the scale. Yes, she balances him, but they are both way too far on either side to have a moderate, respectable debate.

I by and large can't stand Barbara Walters but here she was the voice of reason. She has gone up in my opinion immensely.

Yeah whoopi has never generalized republicans, now shes a talentless hypocritical flake!

For me Bill O'Riley is an attention getter. He likes to get everyone's goat just to make his ratings go through the roof. It doesn't matter to him who the hell he offends as long as he gets his point across. Bill O'Riley is just an asshole. It's as simple as that. :)

Islam and Christianity are equal glimpses of the untrue.

Whoopi is so right!! I love her!
Barbara wins this one. She makes sense, she's talking from a professional stand point, from dignity, smarts, when we debate or discuss things. Barbara even calls out the ratings thing and how people like Bill are out to pull strings and take you to their level.
Whoopi and Joy, as I do understand their points, still, need to take the higher road. I see this sort of pulling people down or tugging at their chains down to the agitators level in society, you have to rise above it, don't FALL for it.

Funny thing with Joy calling O'reilly a 'bigot' for his views of a religion... maybe someone should play some of her own words for her when she is slamming Christianity. I find it disturbing that it is somehow 'ok' to bad mouth Christianity, but somehow just plain wrong if someone does it to 'Islam'.
