Lost Dreams (William Blake)at: http://www.facebook.com/jyi.official.

I don't expect much love/ good comments for this song. Haha. I wrote a very very weird song, not common, very very unusual. Don't ask me why. I am feeling weird now. Anyway, do tell me how you feel, which part you hate, which part you love. This is a song I wrote for my assignment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SuhCTdwxbA

My dear friend, Lee Ann, helped me out with the lyrics. The lyrics is adapted from two poems by William Blake "A dream" "A Little Boy Lost". William Blake's fans, hope you guys won't hate me!

LYRICS (adapted from William Blake's poem)
by Lee Ann

VERSE
once a dream did wave a shade
o'er my angel bed
that an emmet lost its way
where on grass i lay.

troubled, wildered, and forlorn
dark and travel-worn
over many tangled sprays
then i heard her say

PRECHORUS

o-oh my children, the-y cry
do-o you hear their sig-hs (x 2)

(background) x 2
the weeping child could not be heard
the weeping parent wept in vain
they stripped him and bound him in an
iron chain

CHORUS

nought loves someone
else as itself
standing on the
mighty alter high

VERSE

little children still they cry
hear their father sigh
now they look abroad to see
return and weep for me

i am set to light the ground
the beetle goes his round
follow now the beetle's hum
one day you'll come home

(background #2 )
pitying him i dropped a tear
but then i saw a glow-worm near
who asked me what wailing sorrow
chills the night

CHORUS

nought loves someone
else as itself
standing on the
mighty alter high

adapted from William Blake's A dream and A Little Boy Lost.
