Shot in 1990 with a full size VHS video camera. This is the first clip in a video shooting excursion with our family. It begins at our home 'Aotearoa' with a view of the Mussoorie ridge. From a stop near the Picture Palace bus stop, there are views of Mussoorie and Kincraig and of the Dehradun Road. Then there is the petrol pump in Kincraig, followed by the Toll Station when visitors to Mussoorie were still required to pay a tax in order to enter Mussoorie. The bougainvillea was along the Dehradun Road just above Rajpur.

  • Hi. I love this video. My hometown is Mussoorie and its amazing how this has brought so many memories back. Your video starts from 'Aotearoa', which puzzles me, because I have been living in New Zealand for the last 4 years and thats the Maori name for this beautiful country. Are you from New Zealand as well?
