Are the wealthy boarding schools in the U.S. and abroad taking this approach? Of course not! Their focus is content. Again, the public school "visionaries" are selling snake oil. The bottom line is, if a person can't read, write, or do basic math, they will not be successful -- unless they have a unique talent.
The "research" proves that those on the lower end of the socioeconomic ladder benefit most in Teacher-centered environments. Competent teachers using direct instruction are essential.
