Inner Demons (Chlavis AU) part 2- One more day

First of all this video is dedicated to vagrantdream13 for suggesting the sequel from the "From yesterday"-storyline. Guess there has to be at least one more video to bring this plot to an end now ;-)
So here we go...
We start with Chloe having nightmares of the day she lost Davis in the kryptonite cage, when he wants to save her and their unborn child from his dark side.
During her pregnancy she always has daydreams from the time with him, their lucky days, the day she gets knowledge of her pregnancy and tells Davis, but can't see the fear in his eyes.
After his death she hardly can look forward having his baby.
Then after gving birth to their boy, Clark reveals that he thinks, Davis might be still alive. While Chloe is in shock we can see Clark is telling the truth: Davis wakes up in some part of level 33.1

@vagrantdream13 No need to be afraid, there will be a part 3, and after what they did to Chlavis on SV,I think I have to give them their happy ending. I'm just a bit undecided which way I'll start the vid.

(Did I mention youre guilty for making me write stuff? From yesterday made me write a drabble thing about Davis and Chloe and their baby and him deciding to die to protect it. )

hee! I trilogy sounds great. XD

I can kinda sympathize. I started working on my first chlavis vid in earnest yesterday.

as for where to start, chloe's a single mother, tracing davis. or maybe davis in 33.1, undergoing brutal testing or missions and such with very strong, inexplicable memories of chloe? some eternal clips-- that episode where lex is put in the green k by lionel could work. hmmm.

and then clark drops the bombshell that davis is alive (finally acting like the quasi-friend he should be, at the very least). And chloes eyes suddenly focus an have a purpose in them again and sure enough- a flutter of burned eyelids-davis wakes up in 33.1.

(I always maintained that kryptonite burns had to be decidedly unpretty). So Chloe, no can keep him away from you, not even fake!lex. There is HOPE! XD

Then the twist, and the baby gurgle as chloe gives birth-ow pain- and all of this was probably mostly flashing back as she was crazy with pain having their baby.

Also, the lulling music you blended in here. so amazing. Did I mention you are one of the only people who blends music so well that I want it on a soundtrack. It fits the nature of the vid. Its a little more hopeful but still sad and then chloe is still feeling depressed and afraid...

her reactions to the crib and back. (That eternal door opening scene, with davis's hand? so good!

Then chloes torturing herself with losing davis again, going out places or just staring hopelessly into the fire. And then there is that picture of the fetus in the fire and shes really really taking it badly. She cant reconcile herself to it at all. I bet Clark is preaching but I think he might be able to understand she did love his eternal rival after all.

And Chloe once again flashes back at the end of another year, probably her very worst birthday, seeing all the hidden vulnerabilities and sadnesses to davis even in some of the times they were happiest and at their most romantic.

Then we get inside what Chloe dreams of again and its so sad. Shes imagining Davis wanting to surprise her )2:33 with a room for their baby and being happy and excited and anticipating (<3 for the new clip) . and how you intergrated the scenes flashing from..

to stop the darkness he felt from hurting people-most of all, her.

Davis closing his eyes, flashing to pregnant chloe breaking down outside. Its very very sad. Instead of making her feel more loved it tears her up more. I love how you portrayed Chloes reactions. Its very human. She is going to be a mother but at the same time shes this scared young woman who lost the love of her life because of their baby. Thats gotta wreak havoc on someones head. Especially Chloe.

Its like shes really, completely admitting his love for him here at last, and then the pretty gray flashbacks and the kissing and their complete openness and vulnerability together and then the cut away to daviss vision of the baby they made. But then it turns out to be Chloe figuring out shes pregnant and panicking, finally realizing why he did what he did.

That flash to the prey scene is all ow because thats the first time she realized how determined he was...
