@energyparticle no i am not a scientist and have heard of heat pumps but i didnt know of the other method with water its sounds great if you have a lot of water supply but with the corporation buying up all the water rights and destroying the water tables (doc flow) how does this help?

@487shawn No they are confusing Geo Thermal with Geo Exchange. Two completely different things. The caller is talking about residential Geo exchange for heating homes (heat pump using the earth to exchange temp). Dennis is talking about Geo Thermal (pumping water into ground, turning into steam, turning turbines) powering a city. You don't have to be a scientist, these are very basic concepts.
