i remember seeing chad and jeramy on the patty duke show now i,m dating myself

Give em a break on harmonizing - they are singing this about 3 notes lower than the original.
Oddly enough though, I saw Chad and Jeremy live a year ago and they still did the original keys on Yesterdays Gone and A Summer Song and sounded just great.

very nice song tnx for uploading , when gordon died? they just came here in the philippines

The harmony is spot on. On the original, the first verse is sung by both on the melody. I hope this is what you are referring to.

@eugeneBo Thank You for the information! They will be in our hearts and souls all of our lives.
I find this song interesting! Evedentlhy they didn't preform much after their initial populariaty because they are having a difficult time harmonizing. Other groups of the sixties didin't seem to have that problem. It isn't their age, because Simon and Garfunkle just meshed even after many years apart as a "duo" . Their backgound musicians were good.

@Ilvcamusic : This concert was their first time performing together in 37 years. Gordon had been acting and singing over the years while Peter concentrated on producing other recording artists.

I was lucky enough to be at that concert. I was always hoping that the concert would be realeased on video with proceeds to Mike Smith's family, but so far, no such luck. I got to speak with Peter and Gordon afterwards and it was truly a thrill. Sometimes it is actually good to live in NYC and be in the center of the world.

@nylawyer55: Thanks for your comment. I'm happy that I was able to capture several songs by each performer that evening. My only regrets are that I didn't have a better camera, more memory cards and batteries. I would have loved to have been able to video record the entire concert from start to finish. We were lucky enough to purchase the VIP tickets and visit with everyone after the first concert. We will cherish the memoried and the photos we took with many of them.
