@knutgordon Yup so true, and then when you do protect what's yours you get a big fine/prison sentence and called a criminal! It pisses me off.
Our legal system is awful, the squattes act 1977 needs to be removed as it's not being interpreted in the way of which parliament intended it to be - they intended it to be for houses which have been abandoned for donkey's years, not a house where someone's gone out shopping or a house which is only visited by it's owner once a week.
-
If the state can't and won't protect you or your property - then you are forced to do it yourself. I'd would hire someone to take temporarily possession of the house and break a couple of kneecaps in the process. The rest of the scum would probably leave very shortly after.

It's these filthy socialists and eastern europeans squatting, whom have never done a decent days work in their lives and who would rather spend their money for rent on drugs. I bet if we protested and squatted in a judges house it would be a different story! This country is a shit hole now, when I earn money, I'm moving!

My neigher is a 94 old woman who served as a nurse in ww2. Recently she has to gone to hospital for treatment for 3months and came out to find squatters in her house, which she worked hard for all her life for, now they are claiming ownership. Heartless bastads!
-
Also, when the land was 'virgin', someone, the first settlers, moved in and took ownership. They might have deserved the land, but not anyone who then stole, bought it forcefully, sold it at a profit, etc. They didn't necessarily put work into the land/property. So why should they make anything from it? It's a matter of luck if you're born into property, you can never find somewhere freely and legally available. Luck isn't justice. It's a justice issue, finding somewhere to live.

@MsRennet why not simply use the property instead of leaving it empty for ages? Squatters generally use empty buildings that haven't been used for ages because it causes less conflict - they're not there to piss you off, they're there to live without oppressive rents and low wages taking their toll on them. Why not look to the real cause of the problem - the system and people with too much property leaving it inefficiently used?
-
yeah there's "nothing illegal" and "everyone has a right to have a place" but not when you're damaging and stealing our property!
no good low lives, music won't save your lives. go back home if you can't afford to live here!!!

filthy pieces of shit
I hope someone slits your throats while you sleep
ANY person who is in ADVERSE OCCUPATION MUST post a simple LEGAL NOTICE that complies with Section 6 of the CRIMINAL LAW ACT 1977 - WARNING the OUTSIDE WORLD that the advises the WORLD that a person in ADVERSE POSSESSION is in LAWFUL OCCUPATION... IN LAWFUL CONTROL...
This makes a potentially CRIMINAL matter into a CIVIL Matter...
