I find it odd that Nightwish booted out the one thing that made them interesting, because she was apparently more interested in her own commercial gain. Yet since Dark Passion Play all Nightwish have done is milk their back catalog with boxsets, compilations and live releases. Meanwhile Tarja and Co. have released two decent albums of original material (and some covers). I'd rather endorse Tarja doing Nightwish covers, than Annette trying to do old Nightwish songs.

@Reebz0r Remember that releases of boxsets, compilations, live releases and all that stuff aren't made up by the band itself. Their label decides what to release and since there has been some years of "silence" in Nightwish the label is releasing stuff like compilations to make extra money untill NW is releasing their new album. The thing is, there will always be fans who will buy this stuff so it's not that weird that their label is releasing these things.

So you can't blame NW for that ;)

Its funny that all comments saying that this video is awful are made by Nightwish/Anette fanatics. The sound quality isn't the best, but this performance was Great, and "End of All Hope" is actually an easy song for Tarja. She is been singing Stargazers instead of End of All Hope on this tour, but she was sick this night. So Its hard for some fanatic fans to face the truth that those songs are still alive because of Tarja. I am also a Nightwish fan too but I have no problem with it, I like Both!

Lol Tarja is the best....Anette cant sing old songs as it is not for her voice...sHE SIMPLY cant HIT THE NOTES..so plz if you know anything about music talk or else keep your mouth shut ( haters of the Godess called Tarja )

@snowboardrock7 Despite all the symphathy I feel for her and noticable progress that she made she will never be Tarja No2 cause she doesn't have such strong voice as Tarja had on their first album and she is not classical singer. Tuomas also made lover notes for her in some songs that Tarja was singing cause Anette can't reach them

@moclis They will, Tarja had been for 10 years in the band and much longer practicing opera. Annette is a newbie but she's doing great for the time she has been with NW. And she's now a looooot better than in 2007, so just wait two more years and she'll be tarja 2 :)
