john talks to Just Ask A Local about Christian the lion. Christian was a lion originally purchased by Australians John Rendall and Anthony "Ace" Bourke from Harrods department store of London in 1969 and ultimately reintroduced to the African wild by conservationist George Adamson. One year after George Adamson released Christian to the wild, his former owners decided to go looking for him to see whether Christian would remember them. He did, and with him were two lionesses who accepted the men as well
i like this man, he was cute when he was younger ^-^

Is Christian still living? I hope so, he is such a beautiful animal. It warms my heart to know that he was rescued from a life of being locked up in a zoo like he parents. Are they still alive? I have mixed feelings about wild animals being kept in zoos. If not for zoos we more than likely would never get to see wild animals and experience their beauty but is it fair to them? To be caged for the rest of their life. I wouldn't want to be caged I'm free and I feel all wild animals should be too!
