  • I have thin quilted maple veneer that's maybe 1/16 thick. It's also wavy, how would I get it flat and apply it to the body (I'm assuming before I cut out the body, from what you did here)? Would clamping it like that flatten the waves in the wood out?

  • You could try to dampen it and then clamp it flat between two stiff cauls.

  • how thick is the wood

  • The body is 1 1/4". The maple top is 9/16" and the back is 1/8"

  • how long do you have to wait till its apselutly dry ?

  • I leave it overnight
