  • Obama is a cult. You know--hope, change, etc. etc.--based on nothing but faith in a individual. Ron Paul is the leader of a Revolution. Jesus was not, is not, a politician. Jesus spoke to the truth. People who speak to the truth often gather a following. RON PAUL DOES NOT RAISE PEOPLE FROM THE DEAD. RON PAUL WANTS TO RAISE THE CONSTITUTION FROM THE DEAD. Get a f*cking clue!

  • Why should I care about the constitution? It's just a piece of paper with some ok ideas (and some not so ok ideas) about how to organize a government.

  • Ron Paul is a package. If you support Ron Paul you support solutions, and those solutions are being proposed ONLY by Ron Paul because Paul is the only Congressman not owned. Paul is the only one in Congress who seems to have an understanding of monetary policy. He's the only one calling for ending the Fed, ending Fractional Reserve Lending, ending fiat currency, and ending the personal income tax. Package that with non-interventionist foreign policy and you have a unique individual.

  • "If you support Ron Paul you support solutions" = Bullshit statement intended to make anyone who isn't a fan of Ron Paul "anti-solution" in your mind.

Come back to me when you haven't drank so deeply of the conservative kool-aid.

  • Great video. I'd like to take issue with you on the idea of abortion though. Whether you are a religious person or not, I'd say there is only one discernable, empirical purpose to life, which is reproduction. I'd challenge anyone to dispute that. Now I'd have to conclude that the one 'purpose' in life must neccessarily attach to it some responsibilities. Responsibilities to raise, educate, and care for our children. Those are intuitive. The same must be true of carrying our offspring to term.

  • By purpose do you mean duty? If so, I dispute it.

  • Florida for Ron Paul!

  • Typical Ron Paul supporter profile:

    White male

    20-30 years old

    grew up fatherless

    bullied in in high school

    looking for a Father Figure

find Ron Paul's s scrawny physique and quirky way of enunciating to be a mirror of themselves

they're "gonna show the world this time!" because now they have a Messiah to lead them into the Social Redemption Holy Land!

Ron Paul is love! Ron Paul is peace! Ron Paul is Pure Consciousness. Now drink your Kool-Aid, my children.

  • @XOmniverse I never saw this comment of yours about solutions, either. I think anyone who isn't a fan of Ron Paul is anti-solution. Now that is bullshit. We've got all kinds of solutions out there being put into effect. The Wall Street Bailout, TARP, Cash for Clunkers, QE 1, QE2, QE3,QE4, QE5....austerity, austerity, austerity, a war here, a war there. Oh, there's lots of people out there with solutions. There are many kinds of conservatives. Don't lazily, or ignorantly, lump them together.

  • @XOmniverse I haven't been here since I left comments a year ago. Now I see that my response to your question about why you should care about the Constitution has been deleted. I think I called you a name, so fair enough. I'll repeat the rest of what I said, though: when you are brought before the tyrant in chains, you tell him that the Constitution is just a piece of paper.

  • @howlingwolf8 Ron Paul is not an idiot. He believes in a level playing field for the individual, including anti-trust laws, etc., but most importantly, the PROSECUTION OF FRAUD--something the bought politicians and revolving door regulators fail wholeheartedly at. Regulations don't work because the government bureaucracies are inept and corrupt. Regulations are USED by the mega corporations to their advantage against their competition. Monsanto is a gleaming example, as is Glass-Steagall.

  • @howlingwolf8 ...gamble, coerce, buy the political system, and screw the rest of us, outsourcing jobs, hiring lawyers to eat away competition, and when they get in trouble, use their bought and payed for politicians to bail them out at the expense of you and me and our grandchildren. This is the real function of the Fed, to enslave the population for the benefit of the elitists and the owners. In a free market level playing field, mismanaged companies that gamble and lose fail and go bankrupt.

  • @howlingwolf8 That is the biggest misconception out there--that free market Capitalism has led to present corporate power. Absolutely wrong. We are not in a free market and never have been. We are in a managed economy with artificial interest rates, subsidies, and bailouts. The mega corporations have the power they have because of a corrupt legal system and unequal access to money and markets. They are the first at the Fed teats, thereby get the cheapest money and then turn around with it....

  • @tryptala Yes I agree debt is the monster. And yes, there needs to be changes. but Ron Paul wants more than what he says is Adhering to the constitution. He wants unfettered free market economy, something that history has shown doesnt work on its own. its what has led to the sheer magnitude of the power corporations have.

  • @howlingwolf8 You absolutely misunderstand Ron Paul. Paul does not say he has all the solutions. He says YOU have all the solutions. Not the U.S. gov't, not the Fed, not the IMF, not the United Nations. Paul just wants the U.S. gov't to adhere to the Constitution. Stagnant economy? What the hell do you think we have now? We are in a recession that is likely to last for decades because the banks were allowed to lend out money into the stratosphere via policies of the Fed. DEBT IS THE MONSTER.

  • @tryptala Every politician says he has the solutions. Ron Paul is just another politician with big ideas. Ron Paul thinks he has the answers to problems in 2011 with ideas from 1811, but the world is far more complicated than a simple solution. Ron Paul=Liberty? You question fractional reserve lending? You do realize that ending the ability of banks to invest your money to make it grow means no more loans for ANYONE, and eventually no more banks. Stagnant economy is a favorable goal?

  • ron is a clueless twerp

  • It is liberty that people want; not necessarily Ron Paul; I find it also funny that you "feel" something is wrong with Ron Paul and or his followers, don't you identify with objectivism ?"Feeling" and having no reason to feel that way seem very irrational; and obviously people want Ron Paul because of liberty, you seem like the type to simply dislike any one who would garner attention. Nobody supports Ron because he is Ron Paul they do it because of there love for liberty,
