ya but I race standardbreds and thoroughbreds and in the standardbred buisness.You have the trainer,the groom and sometimes the owner.Simple and sweet.Plus too it's easier to keep an eye on your horse if you only have two people working on him.And if anything goes wrong you only have two people to blame.People only go to the trainers that have the wins but they don't care if the trainer uses drugs on the horse or if the trainer destroys the horse from bad training.people are morons

yeah. Too many companies have gotten into horseracing. The trainers only want winners, so do the breeders, so the trainers only work to make the horse a winner, nothing else nothing more. Thats why they have so many grooms and stuff, unfortunately. I would LOVE to get involved in horseracing and change the sport for the better! Its one of my big dreams. Breed better horses and hands on training. I as well have more respect for the schoolteacher. A lot of the other trainers look to stuck up.

I've known people to ship their own horses over the whole continent to taske them to a show or competetion.I have myself.He is no horse person just some asshole with money.I wish that school teacher won atleast he owns the horse and does the training.I have more respect for him than the texas asshole who won.but thats the way the racing world goes the assholes who don't give a shit about the horse gets farther than people like me who love and care for them.I've always been on the track

yeah but at t=least Mine That Bird's trainer drove him 1400 miles so he could make it to the Derby. And he was ony onn one foot. But i do agree to an extent. Trainers nowdays are to industrialized and corporate. it sucks cuz you don't see many habds on trainers anymore like him or even ruffian's trainer. Its a sad reality

I would prefer a REAL owner like this over those fuck heads like the bitch that just won.He obviously has never been near the barn,and then he makes it seem like he knows what the fuck he's talking about.Just because you have money doesn't make you a horse person or trainer!!!!!I wish he had won,he deserved it over that useless texan wanna be
