Response To DJBigRons Response To DJ Tips For Brides and Grooms Part 2

This a response to a response that DJ Big Ron did. I think Ron is an awesome DJ and wanted to give him my take on what a great wedding reception he has the opportunity to create. As DJ's we need to forget what has been done in the past or what is people think they should hear at a wedding. Really what a lot of people actually do not like about when they go to a wedding. Not everything in that has been done in the past is cheesy but a lot is outdated and slightly cheesy. When I do the electric slide I swap the songs..Start with the slide regular then tell them to keep going while the song switches....very fun and also sets the wedding apart from others.

Great pointers! I think it's good to change things up a bit and not do the same routine every gig. Too many DJs get stuck in that rut.
