i can't believe what you people say about nurses. they're the ones that save your ass when you're in trouble. try asking a doctor what's going on on a hospital floor. yeah, he/she won't ever know. it's the nurses that run those units.

So I watched this video to learn more about the nursing profession, and then scrolled down to see if anyone had some insight on the career for them. all I read was straight up immaturity.

Seriously people, all I wanted to get from this video was more information on nursing, not whining and complaining. To me, nursing should be looked at as a rewarding career, not a grudge in your life.

How can nurses care for people properly when they are slaved out /overworked/ numb from being overwhelmed with unreasonable workloads? Who is responsible? Why isn't their enough money for quality labor environments/ wages that match the stress and responsibility? It comes from high places...be politically informed to find the answers...watch MONEY CHANGERS- THE INTERNATIONAL BANKERS documentary. It will open your eyes as to where public money for healthcare is going and it's not to the people.

@kmthompson87 Agree. I am a nurse and we do all the work. we have more contact with patients than doctors. We work hard for all our patients and we get very little pay compared to how hard we work. but we love our job and every day something new happens and exciting. be a nurse and makes a difference. you become a better people by taking nursing education. sorry my engelish. AND YEAH DENMARK ROCK HEHE

@justarandomguy80 can u pretend to be a nurse for one day in an ICU there are doctors there to help u.. can u insert a iv cannula , insert a catheter, ryle's tube, can u give an injection, , can u suggest any diet plan for a patient.. if u can do then i would agree u that nurses are just stand nd follow orders nursing is not an ordinary job my friend it needs skills.. only through training nd experience u can be a nurse its a profession which needs more skills..

@justarandomguy80 do u know what is nursing .. nursing is not a job tat can be done by even a doctor .. it can be done only by a educated nurse.. nursing is a profession not a jerky job.. u a**h*** we know much more than a doctor who just passed their five year MBBS program.. i know many doctors who didn't know what to do when an emergency occurs..
