With the creation of all the next generation consoles and as we move into new technology it is no wonder that these consoles encounter more problems.

This issue is the same as the YLOD (Yellow Light of Death) for PS3. Both systems use what they call "Thermal Grease". my power supply goes to an orange light as soon as I turn my xbox on. Will it still bake if the power supply aint green?

Green and yellow indicate that your video cable is not properly seated. Check to see if you have a short in the wire or not. This should fix the problem you're having.

thank you so much man it worked! But for some reason after I had the two red lites and it was baking i let it cool for 10 and it was fine i didnt have to run it a third time like you. Do you know why that is gamelinx?

Some Xbox systems are more trouble than others. I had the one that was trouble. After the extra baking, mine works fine now ;)

@SYNgatesMASTER actually 1 volt can kill you, its not the voltage that is dangerous its the amps(current).

just rubbing a balloon on your head will generate tens of thousands of volts! :)

Old ass Xbox....1. I tried the q-tips in the fan trick without opening xbox.......waste of time 2.  I got the pan heads and washers and and silver shit 3. Install...Just hand tighten the screws, tried the box still didn't work on first turn on....turned off....4. Overheated without the fan like the video says, mine was a total of 2 minutes after 2 red lights. Turned off, quickly unplugged everything and tightened screws 1/4 turn past hand tight whil still hot!! wasn't even hot don't worry!!
