  • Do you have a 10th planet jiu jitsu school in FL?

  • No yet my friend

  • Would a S-grip work for the submission? (At the part where you hold your hands together)

  • my students asked me the same thing. I personally find that you need a gable grip to get a tight choke. A s grip might allow the shoulder crank or neck crank (you'll have to modify the move a bit).

  • A story my instructor told me that one of his practioner got attacked a couple of years ago by a mugger. the guy jumped up behind him and started choking him. he tried to threw him over for like 2 senconds but it didn't work. he then blocked the leg that was on the same side as the choking arm and spun out. he took the guy down with an osoto gari from there and landed in side control. he jumped into the crusifix locked everything up. he had one arm free so he called the police.....

  • ...and with the free hand he called the police and 10 minutes later the police had arrived. he holding him there for ten minutes choking him out 3 times and broken his elbow from the crusifix. he said that the crusifix is the best thing you can jump into if you're not incerdibley good at keeping the mount and the other guy is very sloppy. a very interseting story i say regarding the crusifix and how it can be used. the story came up days later in one of sweden's newspapers.

  • hey im in australia and the refs over here are insanely strict on neck cranks. sometimes even stupid (eg in under 16s u cant pull on the head with a triangle.) i was hoping someone could elaborate if this cranks the neck at all. even if it does a little bit il not chance it in a comp. but il still try it in training

  • awesome i just learnd that choke yesterday!!!

  • is there a dvd called blackout?

  • Ari much props to you for your work ethic, bro every time I hear of a new move , and I want to see how it is done you are the one showing how to do it, You are officially my new instructor.

  • @neverscared92 why would it not work in gi? its actually easier in gi, just think about it, have you ever grappled before?

  • 2 questions

    1) is this effective in gi too?

    2) could you go to this from an armbar attempt?

  • @Submissions101 I would be so happy if you guys opened a school in edmonton or calgary. victoria is the closest one to me i think theres one in winnepeg to isnt there? my mma class teaches jui jitzu but i want to learn the 10th planet system. i study all your moves on this channel and am the most dominant on the ground in my class. im only a yellow belt in pankration and would love to start jui jitzu. you guys are awesome and i saw Red's debut it was crazy! Keep Rollin guys

  • awesome video, I love how simplistic your guard is. Your setups look all very high percentage.

  • @Submissions101 I just wanted to say thanks for all the videos...Greats subs with easy and clear instruction..I usually try to get one down a week so i can try them when i go to the gym.9 times out of 10 i can hit them..Im deff gonna try this variation..Keep up the great work.

  • just a question from a very hard noob:

0:30 wouldn't it be a good setup for an armbar?

i mean, all you need to do'd be throwing his right leg over and secure the arm he has already in his left armpit?
