Audi is a dominant force at Le Mans, winning 9 times in the last 11 years and it's an aspect of Audi that perfectly exemplifies the Audi ethos and approach to engineering and product development. In short, it's Vorsprung durch Technik in action.

  • To win Le Mans you have to overtake the Ferrari 458 from the inside and....Oh....mmmm...Forget it.

  • Saw this in 3d before Harry Potter: DH pt 2. It looks epic in 3d.

  • those 8 dislikes where the Peugeot drivers that lost in Le Mans 2011...oh...and they lost their jobs too now that Peugeot left the WEC...

  • @SuperWoollyBully That's because this ad was filmed and edited before Le Mans.

  • that's incredible

  • Wow! I knew Le Mans was intense but I had no idea that it was THAT intense

  • @Rebecca4242 Well if anything else, this is a work of art. And besides that, you can't really judge an entire car brand because your little A3 broke down at one time.

  • @GradyLorenzo nope - our Audi A3 broke down on the Isle of Skye when it was barely 6 months old. By 'pointless' I mean they really don't tie the ad back to reality of the road versions, you watch it waiting for the twist, which never comes. After you've seen the ad once you never want to see it again, it is simply not entertaining enough and it is so long that it just becomes irritating. Compare with the honda 'impossible dream' ad which nails it.

  • @Rebecca4242 but interesting no less. It's not exactly pointless. While they do talk about the team's skill and dedication, it is an example of the same amount of work that goes into the designs of every Audi machine, be it racing machines or family machines. So when you look at it in a way where you consider how Audi knows exactly what they're doing at all times, it really isn't a pointless ad.

  • They forgot to mention that only 1 Audi finished this year, due to two massive crashes, including the "star" of this video! All due respect though, it was an extremely close race. The 1st placed Audi beat the 2nd placed Peugeot by just 14 seconds after 24hrs of racing!

  • This ad is pointless.
