I'm sorry, but WTF is Harmonix Thinking? Skip this waste of time! Save me 2 damn dollars!!!
Keep in mind I have NEVER played drums in my life until Rock Band, if that even counts, I want to get an electric drum kit though, so any help on a nice affordable one to get, would be appreciated. :)

you guys should definitely try real instruments too. rock band requires skill but in a different context. there's nothing more fun than controlling your own instrument.

Well it's a pretty awesome album, this is just the only song that drums are easy on. The drummer in pixies has a beat that i can't get down.

If you want a good electric drumset, get an Alesis DM5 Electric Drum Kit. That's what I have and it's awesome (for a beginner like me) You can customize what sound each pad makes and everything.
Usually electric drumsets are expensive though so be warned. Mine was I think $600 plus $50 extra for a pearl kick pedal. You could also always add more pads and I think also double bass.
