Jonas Brothers Drama Chapter 22

Everyone knew and understood that something was wrong with Kevin. And perhaps it was because no one had been paying attention to him for the last 2 weeks. In that time he had read all of Amanda's texts and the new ones she had sent.

A couple days after Julia's accident he had decided to answer them. It had started off slow with a 'oh, hey amanda' and a 'how have you been' until it got less formal everyday with a 'whats up' and a 'yo bynes'... Kevin was becoming more and more comfortable. He would spend his entire day texting and calling her, see how she was doing and how her new moive was coming along. And he especially loved the sound of her voice. It was such a relief for Kevin to finally feel...in love and happy. But Amanda lived in California, and he was still in New Jersey. Disney had contacted them and was asking them to start moving soon. All Kevin had to do was affront hsi mother. He found her in the living room.

"Hey mom" Kevin said, "Hows it going?" His mom didn't look up from her magazine and answered, "Good. So what is the matter, darling, is everything alright with Julia finally? I haven't seen my sons for ages now. " Kevin smiled and answered cooly, "Yes, everything is fine, Julia will be back soon. Sooo,,, I wanted to talk to you about something else. "


His mother dropped the magazine into her lap and folded it. "Is it about the moving to California?" she said with a smile. Kevin looked at her confused. "Yeah...it is. Um...Disney called and they want us to wrap it up...Is...is it ok??" His mother sighed and said," Honey, whatever you do is fine with me. It's just last time, it made me think of a friend of mine who moved to california, and she died a couple years ago..." Kevin looked at her with wide eyes. " Lung cancer, you know smoking. I always said it was bad for you. Anyways, I already started packing, and you're father is looking for an appartment for the time being. Then he is preparing to sell this house and ... I was jsut overwhelmed. You have grown so much. Give me a hug." Kevin walked up to her and gave her a big hug, it was only then that he started to notice the brown boxes every here and there. "I guess I'll go recruit the boys to finish the packing...and storing." He walked out of the room, when his mother said, " The first truck will be here at 5, so tell them to work fast, but don't make it messy. "

Kevin found all of them in his room. They were wrestling on his bed including Frankie who was more of just clapping and hitting Nick on the butt ever so often. " Oh my goodness, what are you guys doing???" The first one to answer was Nick who between a kick to the face, yelled out, " I'm beating him up for what he did to me. "


Just then Kevin recalled the things Julia had told him yesterday. "No...NOO, you guys, this isn't the way to handle it. I know what Julia did was wrong, but she was going to tell you. She needs you. It was an accident. I...She..um.. WHAT??"

Nick and Joe were staring at him. Nick, was in complete awe, while Joe was almost smoking out of his ears and at the same time scarred to his guts. Nick spoke first. "What are you talking about?" he looked quickly to Joe, who was still staring at Kevin with anger. Nick stood up. Joe did as well.


The blood rushed to Kevin's face. "Oh, oh my god, you guys weren't talking about that. Um... I mean... oh my god." And he left without another word, too embarassed, nervous, angry at himself, for having said that.

Nick was still confused. He looked at Joe who was looking at the door Kevin had jsut came out of. "Um...what was he talking about?" Joe didn't look at him as he said, "I don't know, but...um.. I got to take a shower. See ya later" and he rushed through the door before Nick could say anything.

Nick was not satisfied, but he didn't know what to do. He decided to go visit Taylor, to see if she could clarify any of this for him.......
