It's based on the NIV, one of the worst translations of the Bible.v why couldn't they do the King James Version instead? it's far more accurate than any other English translation.

If you want the Bible on audio book, I highly recommend this one. I'm not a huge fan of the TNIV, but apart from that, it is very well made! Worth buying.

I don't want to sound racist or politically incorrect or anything, but why are all the voice actors black? How come they don't have any white, Hispanic, Asian, etc. voice actors?

I wonder how they are going to do the weird parts of the bible. Like the whole slavery thing, or killing babies, or God accepting a human sacrifice, or God killing thousands of people because 1 person fucked up, or Jesus being racist, or God killing anyone who shaves their head a certain way, etc.

Heard about this a while back, looks very nice. Shame they didn't bring in James Earl Jones to be God.
