They haven't sold as many records as other groups, but Clipse is easily, EASILY one of my favorite duos/groups ever. They don't get the credit they deserve, too many people are still sleeping on them. Meanwhile, they always have THE best production from Pharrell and Chad, and they always have some of the rawest lines.

@DavySupafried this is a fact, music is all opinion, i prefer Immortal over wayne, you dont, neither of us are wrong. to you wayne is the better artist he influenced you more, immortal was mine, and when a bael has an artist they mold them into what they want, and they want what people want to listen to, just because lil jon made a R-company some money dont mean hes a good MC, he sucks lol. immortal technique doesnt want to make music thats not him. wayne does and does it well, hands down

@lyrsisttillthedeath1 thats what happens when you submit to what the Label wants, it's called creative control, most mainstream artists don't have alot of it because the label wants music that people will listen to on the radio and sell records. He could just start his own label like Curren$y who was actually on Young Money initially and left to start his own record label and personally I think he is making much better music than Immortal Technique ever has, completely different rap styles tho..

@DavySupafried when you go commercial you lose the ability to be creative, your now a gimmick, you make ONE hit then your stuck ona shelf. dude, hip-hop is not about how much money you make, or how many fans you have, its about the lyrics. and immortal had offers from every major label, universal offered him close to jus 2mil for an advance.immortal his jus aswell known as wayne and Immortal isnt signed.

@lyrsisttillthedeath1 I don't see how Immortal Technique is a real hip-hop artist compared to Lil Wayne he did he build a record label from the ground up? did he sign million dollar record deals? he hasn't signed ANY artists and he is purely underground and says fuck mainstream music... @devario3901 To say Young Money is the hardest wrokign group in hip hop is flat out false. They are handed gift wrapped beats with hooks that are written for them and more often than not 16's they pay someone for. They have a PR machine behind them and are the fakest group of rappers out (cept Drake, I do have respect for him). As far as putting out material? Holla at slaughterhouse, 4 dope MC's who all put out mixtapes, solo albums, a group album and group mixtapes (yes multiple) in <2 years.
