IGN tries to answer one of the most important question of our time: Are mummies zombies? Watch this debate of epic proportions and let us know what you think!

To kill a zombie you have to destroy the brain. When someone was mummified the brain was removed therefore making it impossible for a mummy to be a zombie. just a reanimated corpse.
@lil1crash Zombie Jesus consumes souls and not flesh, but his zombie followers do consume flesh and blood... but not brains... they want nothing to do with the intellect ;)
@ChameleonLost88 Ok but as he said they fall into a catogry of zombie, Or its it own. But on zombie and mummies there both reanimated corpses cause by voodoo or a curse. But if you where to take the paprus off the mummie you basicly have a zombie from eygept
Zombies are not mummies... they are zombies. And they are not egyptian mummies either. Mummies are made by preparing an already deceased person and embalming them. Zombies are reanimated corpse flesh who are mindless horde controlled creatures. Mummies have a purpose, to protect their resting place from thieves and intruders. Zombies do not have a purpose, they are instinct driven.
@Tom4122 They did die and come back to life (unlife that is) Vampires are still considered undead. But I was just talking about with in that guys logic, it's like he was saying Vampires are zombies also(again, with in his own logic). BTW, what do you think about werewolfs¿
