The lunchtime clock speeds up every day 20% at 11:00 and slows down 20% at 11:48 until it rights itself at 1:00. This gives you an extra 12 minutes of lunchtime to enjoy.

  • This guy's math seems to be off. Increasing speed by 20% and then decreasing it by 20% will lead to a slower clock! (0.8*1.2 is not 1!)

  • @MrDasarp Literalists bore me. Everyone gets the point. 20% faster and/or slower than normal.

  • @MrDasarp That's why there's 48 minutes of 20% faster and 72 minutes of 20% slower.

  • @xceptionaI Nope, your math is. When speed is increased by an hour, then when you take 20% a second time, that 20% will be greater than the original 20%. Think of it this way, say something costs a $100. You increase the price by 20%, it is now 1.2*100=$120. Then you decrease the price by 20%, it is now $96 (0.8*120=96)

  • Time theft, nice

  • @MrDasarp

It's your math that is off....... 0.80*1hr = 48 min......... 1.20*1hr = 72 min .... the sum of this is 2 hours........ just what he said.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • awesome except i dont get lunch breaks lol

  • fuckin slackers!

  • i use the lunchtime clock during a boring class, or when the gf is talking

  • I want

  • i am lunchtime

  • @MrDasarp It's not just about how fast or slow it goes. It's also greatly significant how long it maintains those abnormal speeds. Also you don't multiply the speeds, you average them (assuming that it spends the the same amount of time at each speed). My trouble with his math is that the lunch clock is speeding up 20% at 11 and slowing down 20% at 12 and then going normal at 1. All of that checks out. 1hr at 120% and 1hr at 80% averages to 100% taking 12min out of 11to12 and put it in 12to1.
