I think he plays in standard D tuning...that's how I've learned most dredg songs, anyways. And he has a whole LITANY of pedals, but for that huge, orchestral sound you just use delay, a little bit of reverb and some distortion...but not too much :)

he has a combination of over 35 pedals that he uses throughout the show, sometimes daisy chaining all of them at once to make original sounds

delays and reverbs im sure. there are some great pedals out there. i wanna know what tuning he uses.. standard? anyone know?

does anybody know how their guitarist makes the guitar sound like an entire fucking orchestra? i know its not synths cuz i dont see their drummer playing. must be a lot of pedals.
