When it's hot and muggy, The Cool Breeze Scoop works in conjunction with the A/C. It scavenges the Cool Air from the eyeball vents and cools you even more. With the top down and the A/C on the upper air would blow away. If you had the A/C directed to your feet they would be freezing and you'd still feel hot around your lower body The Cool Breeze Scoop mixes that flow and makes you cooler.

@Saabriffic With the Cool Breeze Scoop(TM) you will have fresh outside air being forced the foot wells and cooling you below the waist. The scoop uses the concept of piercing the high pressure created by the forward movement of the car. The hot low pressure air that is trapped is displaced with cooler air from the outside. it attach's the the windshield header and is a ez-on , ez off to use and requires no permanent damage to the car.

@apartmentplan Care to elaborate on your articulate comment? It seems like a wonderful Idea for all those who own NA's who had their A/C bail on them years ago. It also let's you save fuel AND power by not running your A/C when it's cool outside, but just slightly too hot inside the car.

Miatas have a big issue with not getting circulation in the foot-wells because the hot air tends to pool and not make it out of the car. This is a great fix for that, especially if mods have increased heat.
