Great video! My conclusion is that the cat is a canadian lynx which, weighs 25-45 lbs on average with short tails just like bobcats. The major difference between the two is weight, bobcats on average weigh 11-30 lbs.

its a bobcat, a big one, the short tail gives t away

doesnt matter what it was.. .i was WILD and HUGE and SCARY LOL! awesome video...

That is defanitly not a bobcat and yes that is without a doubt a MOUNTAIN LION!!!!
-
how about throwing you camera high into the air.maybe that would be steadier then your hand.

This is definately a large bob cat, not mountain lion. Bobcats have a stub tail, mountain lions have long tails. They even say in this video it has no tail. Also they werent sure if it was bigger than his dog which also leans towards the say of a bob cat.

This is why the DEP can't take people seriously when they say they saw a mountain lion. It's obviously a bocat, not a mountain lion.
Wheres the cougar? Bobcat maybe, probably someones pet with short tail......Cougar is alot bigger/different color

Actually not someone's pet, but, I send the video to DEP and they confirmed it was a large Bobcat, not a Cougar. Rare sighting even in rural Connecticut. Thanks for the comment.
