I've used ALOT of lures and i dont think I caught as much fish with any of them as I have with rooster tails

couple months ago i went fishing on a very slowday according to fellow fisherman and pulled out a yellow rooster tail as my bait of choice. On my 7th cast i got a baby spotbasswhich was pretty guddue to the fact that the other guys were catching squat.

i have a question i have a rooster tail but in the video u use it under watter but i reel it in fast and us it to float on top of the water u know like you do with frogs so yea i use it on top water and it works amazing the fish jump up at it its awesome and im only 11 years old and sofar the rooster tail is my fav

these are just simply the best you can fish these things anywhere fish swim to ponds in the backyard to rivers and lakes. This lure as it all it has presentation, flash, vibrations, pulsating movement. Simply the best 13 out of 10

@suicidesnowman14 Night crawlers on hooks work well also. I like to use these in the 1/16 oz to catch early season trout (mostly rainbows and browns). They seem to work better in the early spring when the creeks are still high.

@cardonaman oght to try a mepps. i thnk mepps are much better quality. rooster tails are still very good though, IMO

If you like bass fishing you need some rooster tails in your tackle box. And people having trouble with it spinning hold your pole close to the water and sideways.

@APatriot90 really? i usually use like night crawlers on bait hooks and never use spinners. what is a good method for trout?
