  • Hey oracle2world - there are some other videos on shopping & prepping for a colonoscopy in our account! We get to the bowel cleansing stuff there. Totally agree, that is the gross part.

  • bravo to you sweetie, glad all went well, my Dad died from colon cancer and I just had mine in Oct...the worst part is drinking that drink the day before to evacute the colon :0, the procedure is ok especially if you get put to sleep like I did and you appeared to also..Colonoscopy saves lives! thanks 4 posting!!

  • @auntjojo1980 Thank you!! Great that you are getting your colonoscopy for prevention, that's so important.

  • Just had this today! The prep to clean you out is far worse than the procedure.

  • @Gimmer3 Yep, totally agree!

  • Yes - she was sedated during the procedure but quickly "came to" afterwards. It wasn't painful at all, and all she remembered was the moments right before she received anesthesia and then speaking with the doctor once it was over.

  • Do you know what drugs you were given? I had a colonoscopy and the drugs made it a terrible experience. They want me to do another but there is no way unless they use something else, but I don't know what to request. I was so tired and foggy for a full day after and my short term memory was messed up for weeks. Thanks for posting your video. It gives me hope I can have a better experience

  • Again, you are 100% asleep before the procedure begins. You experience NOTHING! If they remove polyps or do a biopsy you won't feel a thing because you're unconscious. It only last abou 20 minutes. You're not sick afterwards. I went straight to the Chinese buffet and had a big meal. I had it today and there are no after-effects. I'm not the slightest bit sore from the insertion of the "scope." I can't even tell it was done. Don't listen to the BS about the bad tasting drink. Have NO FEAR!

  • @MidwestGastro it sure is gross....but worth it in the long run, you are so young, sorry you were sick but glad you're better now =))

  • @66brianna99 she sure appreared to be out like a lite..
