American Economy is going to collapse anyway.Car or not Car, loan or not.
As everywhere. Americans will just feel the biggest fall as theyr Economy is the most drugged. BTW another war here and there , beside the war on(for) terror, may delay for other few year the final countdown... maybe not.

good luck world.

So, you're saying that the US would lose
-60.1 billion lost in 2009
-54.3 billion in 2010
-42 billion in 2011

Seems to me like this would be a wound that would heal in due time..... I say let the wound heal.

NO TAXPAYER MONEY SHOULD GO TO THOSE BLOOD SUCKING COMPANIES.

Let them fry and things will improve over time. Give them money and they will not have learned a damn thing. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!

It is blatant propaganda. Look at the new vehicles being sold today and the ones from 25 years ago. There is virtually no difference.

If the US auto industry is to survive, they must not only produce vehicles Americans want to buy, but vehicles that can compete internationally and be exported.

Blatant propaganda. If investors are unwilling to put money into GM, why should we? We no longer need 3 US car makers. We should fund Fords buyout of GM in the form of a loan. Chrysler is privately held so they can either go public or declare bankruptcy.

No more mortgaging our future to socialize big businesses losses!
