Two Soldiers from our base died early in '06 in a terrible HUMVEE collision. They were in a HUMVEE protecting a convoy, when they entered very dense fog. The HUMVEE hit a dumptruck head on. Two angels who wear the uniform, had fallen. This video is their unit taking them to the choppers, rendering final honors, and coming to grips with the loss.

  • It's been almost 3 years since this video was made.

I know on Youtube everyone can witness everything, but still keep thing anti-septic and clean as related their own lives.

We lived there. Look at the vid - it was like the moon as far as land marks, pure desert. In the summer, in the sun it got to be 160*f, and these brave souls went out and did their jobs with barely armored Hummers.

Two good people, whether you disagree with the war or not, died and were mourned. Plz be mindful.

  • Damn man.... I remember being at my buddies memroial service in country, it hurt unlike anything I'd ever known before. Wow, I wanted revenge on the guy that pushed the button for that bomb for the longest time. I begged to go on every patrol and hoped to run across the pusher. Things are better now, and I know that my buddies and yours are in a better place than earth. Much respect.

  • sincere thanks to you sir. I am over here again now sir - I know that Psalm 34 is ours "An angel of the Lord encamps around me, not one of my bones will be broken" (even if I am - our spirit is not)

My heart to your loss - and rest easy - we're here now - it's our turn sir.

  • By the way, "Anthrax" - I VOLUNTEERED to go back.

Why? - I believe in our mission, in the Iraqi people, and in my teamates.

You seem devoid of any feelings for the Iraqis whatsoever. Just spouting off about a whole REGION OF THE WORLD where people are trying to have the right to vote, to live their own lives, to conduct their lives free of violence.

But hey, I've been there - what do I know.

  • All the more reason for you Yanks to pull your goddam troops out of the middle east and stop interfering in the middle east's politics

  • WE (meaning me and mine) fight for the rights of these people while you "monday morning quarterback" from the comfort we provide.

    Truly insightful.

Years of socialism and MSM influence at work in THAT post.

  • @StevenMRA My baby's deployed right now, has been these past few months. His Mama still can't eat, can't sleep, and it's done my ticker condition no good at all. It's worse for my son: I so desperately want to hug him and tell him Mama can fix it, it'll be ok, but I can't honestly or physically. All I can do is thank you for making it safer for him to be there now. I mourn with the mothers of the fallen, each and every one, while praying mine comes home safely. God bless you, Soldier.
