  • Interesting course. It seems that the ancients had a lot more time to ponder relationships of spiritual, physical and symbol than we do today.

  • Actually, the ancients also had 24 hrs each day. They just didn't have the distractions that we do - GRIN!

  • Hey BYP, just wanted to let you know that I still watch your videos. Some really great stuff. I'm applying to several M.A. programs in Near Eastern languages this year, so hopefully in the future I can contribute some original research to your discussions. You have definitely been a source of motivation for me. And maybe after it's all said and done and I have my PhD many years down the road, I can actually be the first (?) NON-mormon scholar to break the taboo of publicly engaging with the BoM.

  • Now that is what it's all about! I appreciate your comments about getting and being motivated more than you know. If I can encourage folks to get serious about learning, then no matter what the subject, I feel it's worth every effort. WAY TO GO MAN! Hats off to YOU bub....

  • Good point (no pun intended). They probably spent more time working on food, clothing and shelter.

Also I paraphrase one of your comments from this series in my BSA training last week. They thought it was a good point as well.

  • the infinities of infinity???

  • "it has no desire to expand on its own"

I wonder if that is really true. I think it is, I am unaware of anything that can excite itself on its own. It needs another source.

  • this ordering principle we as scientists (not me specifically) are eagerly trying to find.

I would like to find it too, but that is NOT my topic of research.
