Church vote for Gay Minister,

Scotland's largest protestant church has swept away centuries of tradition and voted to allow gay men and lesbians to become ministers, opening up the prospect of the church allowing civil partnerships for same-sex couples.

Its not just centuries of tradition, but the word of God that has been cast aside by the Cof S.
Romans 1 v 26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Yes, you're absolutely right, the church is going against it's own holy book's teachings.

However, since the holy book itself is a bunch of nonsense, this is probably the closest thing to the right thing, that they can do.
