A healthy snack food for convenience are larabars. Simple ingredients consisting of fruit, nuts and berries. They are somewhat high carb which may scare a lot of primal/paleo people, but they are an excellent choice in many situations.
Don't eat this on a daily basis, but enjoying a larabar once or twice a week while camping, hiking or after a long run is great for your health and weight management.
