@caravans2 according to classic commercials mag, they were bottle green with black wings, which fits as it was the colour used by WW Drinkwater who owned the trucks used in the film.

@mrspivvy Me dad ran a small tipper firm with about 8 drivers-he had Dodge Kews the same as in film then Thames Traders(short wheelbase),4by2 Dodges (lad cab- short wheelbase),Bedford MK 4by2,then Albian Reiver6by4s.

@caravans2 yes- I've yet to see it done on the show circuit. these dodge kews are now very very rare, although quite a few exist in New Zealand
