Ola se thimizoun eserinin bestesi Manos Loizos, sözleri Manolis Rasoulis' e aittir. Haris Alexiou bu eseri 1979 yılında "Ta Tragoudia Tis Haroulas" albümünde seslendirmiştir. Daha sonra 1986 yılında Murathan Mungan, Manos Loizos' un bestesinin üzerine Türkçe sözler yazarak Olmasa Mektubun ismini vermiştir. Olmasa Mektubun isimli bu eseri Yeni Türkü "Günebakan" albümünde seslendirmiştir.
