@TelltheTruth73 And the Bible does NOT teach that you can do whatever you want? God doesn't reward actions, he rewards faith in him and Jesus. If you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can get forgiveness for everything ranging from petty larceny to mass murder and get into heaven anyway.

@Tellthetruth73 Here are some things you should know. Evolution does not claim to know where life came from, how it started, or anything like that. That's something different. There's a lot you don't seem to know about evolution, and I suggest you read up on it and/or watch a few videos, before talking about it. However, you have to do this with an open mind. You can't just be skeptical about everything they say. If you want to question how they know something, you're in for a long ride.

@TelltheTruth73 But see here, we are not quote-mining. We are refuting common arguments that some Christians keep insisting on. You say that we quote-mine the Old Testament, but there are several Christians out there who insist upon Old Testament arguments, and how it's just as valid as the New Testament, and how we should believe it and take it seriously. Well sorry - but no. It's ridiculous. We don't quote-mine - we take Christian arguments and show how ridiculous they are, using logic.

@TelltheTruth73 Excuse me, but please don't assume that you know anything about what I would teach my children. And your answer shows just how misinformed you are. Evolution doesn't say we came from a rock and share a heritage with earthworms. Look it up.

Also, you don't have to make your kids believe in God, Heaven and Hell, etc., in order to make them understand that they CAN'T do everything that they want, and that killing is wrong.

Whether abortion is considered killing or not, though...
