S10 2.2 knock before/after lucas

96 s10 with 156xxx miles. Boughtit for 400 bucks and the guy said it loses oil pressure. Replaced the sending unit and changed the oil with gtx 10w-30 high milage which improved the oil pressure somewhat. I discovered the knock in the motor after i bought it. The First clip is me just starting the truck from a cold start. Great oil pressure and no knock. Second clip is after the motor is warmed up you can start to hear the knock. Third clip is me pouring lucas oil to see if the helps (dont worry i drained about a quart of oil before i put the lucas in so the oil level was correct). Forth clip is the truck running after i put the lucas oil in. Not to much of a difference in the knocking but it helped my oil pressure alot. Fifth clip is after i took her down the road and got on her a couple times. FYI when the motor has a load on it (via. Me accelerating up to speed or down shifting it does not knock) the truck also has tons of power and doesnt skip a beat when driving down the road.

Update! Got a crank kit from napa threw that in along with an oil pump and she purrs like a kitten now. Oil pressure is excellent and sticks at 30psi when fully warmed up

Ended up ripping the motor out and tore it down and the main and rod bearings were shot to hell with metel shavings everywhere and the oil pump was clogged with metal shavings and oil sludge

heavy duty oil stabilizer is the one you should of used drained the oil and added 2 at oil changed
