The live action soldiers here are targeting the Master Chief decsending through the planet's atmosphere. This is the reason that Master Chief was able to be found in the opening scene of Halo 3.

This was footage released along with Halo 3 in order to promote the final installment of the trilogy. I edited that footage together and put it to "Serenata" by Immediate Music. The "live-action" seems to have gone to great lengths for "realism", therefore one would think that it would be for a higher purpose... the movie perhaps? What you see here is only a fan-made video.

it starts off with a memory from his childhood i think, i remember reading about how he and this girl were supposed to get married. and this isnt fan made, ive seen it all over.

@USvsDPRK93 My theory is that they spotted him and marked him but he kept going and eventually crashed in a different part or that the battle was taking place late in the afternoon and the debris he was one was going slow and hit the ground sometime after night fall do to the size of the debris it would be going slow.

Here's what I don't get, it's day time here and master chief is going pretty damn close through the planet's atmosphere. Halo 3 opens up in the night time and Chief crash lands in the night. So how the hell do you explain this disparity between Day and Night? It doesn't seem to make logical sense to me. Thank you to whoever can help me out. Is Chief falling through the atmosphere ALL DAY?! and then crash lands at night? that seems very doubtful...
