DISCLAIMER: I am NOT an interpreter! I understand that the art of ASL is very complex, and what I do is much closer to "Signed English" as opposed to actual ASL. From what I've found, it seems like this is a sign with a lot of variation depending on region, so it's very possible that both may be correct. Please let me know, and thanks for your help! :)

@thfemale Mother can be signed both ways-- wiggled fingers or no :) I think it's more of a generational thing-- wiggled fingers version is an older stylistic way of signing it, and without wiggled fingers is a more modern way of signing it.
