do you have to bypass the daytime running lights ?

@Synester The light plugs in to the stock harness. You will need to tap the halo in to you parking lights in order for the halo to work

Unfortunately, these lights are not ASE approved so if your vehicle inspection is about to expire do not even think about taking it to DMV for it will not pass. I have these problem now. Projector headlights from Spyder Auto are manufacture under the SAE/DOT compliance and 100% street legal. You might have referrd to other brand which not DOT/SAE compliance.
