@BoxerMonkey you pay tax at the grocer on produce? cause I don't and nobody else where I live does either.
Also, as much as cannabis can be used as food, thats not what its recognized as. Comparing a food product to this isn't really relevant at this stage, although maybe it should be.? On top of that, we don't live in the same world we did even 30 years ago when farmers had control of our foods. Business has fought long and hard to kill the farmer...they don't wanna start from scratch.

@BoxerMonkey Sure they "could". It would have to be sold by the pound not by the "bud" Its not so easy to regulate as the things you've listed. Sure it "could" be done...but in a market where its 2 grand+ a pound, do you see the issue? I shouldn't need to elaborate. It can still be done...its just not so cut and dry as people would like it to be, including me.
