That would be lovely. We have seen 48 fps and prefer 24 fps, so we don't have to wait to see that.

How the hell did you manage to drag that out to nearly half an hour?

You're joking, I assume? The difficulty is in CONTAINING IT to roughly half an hour, we usually go over.

Only stupid to those that don't care, as with any "controversy" ever.

I support Peter Jackson, also 24fps is just what we are used too, as more movies come out in 48fps, we will get used to it.

Higher framerates for nature-documentaries. Perfect example. That's what I was thinking it would be useful for most. To get that smooth realism. But yeah, although movies could benefit from it somehow, generally it would probably work best if it's like more "jittery", to kind of "camouflage" the fact that it's all not real.

Then again, it could be cool and work with the more documentary-like movies that are also set up.

'Avatar' though... that includes lot of "animation", so who knows...

nvm. im now resigned to the assumption that you actually didn't see it in 48fps and your initial comment was based on a false memory (unless you were simply lying)

hope you have fun, im looking forward to Dec 14th as well.

now im confused. unless im mistaken, the only place where anybody saw any part of the movie at 48fps was a 10min demo of it, and the trailer has yet to be seen in 48fps. im inclined to believe that you actually saw Spiderman, and The Hobbit trailer (as well as all the other trailers that were shown before your feature presentation) in 24fps b/c there is a specific type of projector needed for 48fps reels that hasn't been released yet (and won't until the release of The Hobbit) for theaters
