Tinglish into English with Stuart Jay Raj -

กิจกรรมในคลิปนี้จะช่วยฝึกกล้ามเนื้อให้มีการออกเสียงเหมือนเจ้าของภาษาอังกฤษมากยิ่งขึ้น

I put this clip together based on speech coaching exercises that I use to change Thais 'Tinglish' or 'Thai' version of English into a version that is more readily understood by native and non-Thai, non-native speakers of English. These exercises can actually be of benefit to people all over the region - from southern china to Singapore. Many of the languages in this part of the world lack a certain number of voiced consonants that we have in English.

For speakers of Southern Chinese Dialects and Thai, the closing of the glottis after each syllable means that consonant clusters within syllables and between syllables get lost.

This is a first set of exercises to address this glottal issue :)

  • I Speak Tinglish For Fun :)

  • @stujaystujay My Minnesoooooootan accent, lol

  • @Chezrocksall @Chezrocksall I was sitting listening to your Thai - great stuff. You have a great vocabulary there. Sometimes as speed and 'fluency' takes over, the tones and distinction between words gets lost. My only comment would be watch the pacing. It's great.

  • @stujaystujay Thanks, and also do you like my Thai? If you don't that's okay but I really want to know. :)
