In the Bible, there were three feasts that followers of God were required to celebrate at the Temple in Jerusalem; Passover, Shavuot (The Feast of Weeks), and Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles). For those who aren't able to make it to Jerusalem themselves, we offer this video as a virtual pilgrimage.

(1ra Corintios 5:1-9).

Very fascinating and amazing how faith is not just in the Word but is acted out and lived.

(continued) It is a powerful reminder of how God tabernacled with everyone in the past, how he continues to do so today and how he will ultimately dwell with us forever, through Yeshua (JESUS) who lives and reigns in the hearts of those who believe in him. The Feast of Tabernacles also contains two powerful elements, water and light, that foreshadowed the Messiah who is the Living Water and the Light of the World.

The Feast of Tabernacles is a joyous harvest festival and a reminder of how God sustained the children of Israel during their wilderness wanderings. The people were to dwell in temporary booths, and to rejoice over God's provision as well as his presence. Many Jewish people still build booths in their yards or synagogues for this holiday, and take their meals in these temporary dwelling places. This feast is known as Sukkot which means "booths" or "tabernacles" in Hebrew.

The Feast of Tabernacles are mentioned in the verses of the Tanakh and Brit Chadasha (see Leviticus 23:34, Deuteronomy 16:13 & 16, Deuteronomy 31:10, 2 Chronicles 8:13, Ezra 3:4, Hosea 12:9, Zechariah 14:16 & 18-19, and John 7:2).
